About Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources

Working oil field equipment, a replica 112-foot derrick and a reproduction boomtown tell the story of south Arkansas' 1920s oil boom. Admission is free, and the park sits two miles south of Smackover on Ark. 7.

Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
