A perennial stretch of lower Sonoita Creek below Patagonia Lake, whose water supports uncommon plants and an extraordinary species list — 106 birds, more than 130 butterflies, 49 dragonflies and damselflies. Twenty miles of trail cross it, eight of them shared with riders.
