Beginning July 13 and lasting about three weeks, there will be no running water available at Año Nuevo State Park due to water system renovations.

Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and bring their own drinking water from home.
Portable Toilets are available for use in the main day use parking lot and at the Staging Area 0.75mi down the Año Nuevo Point Trail.

Notice of Temporary Parking Impacts
Beginning in May 2026, through early August 2026, parking areas at Burleigh Murray, Cowell Ranch, Pescadero, Pomponio, Bean Hollow, Año Nuevo (Gazos Beach), and San Gregorio will experience temporary impacts due to ADA restroom replacement improvements.
All parks will remain open during this time. Parking will remain available; however, access may be limited or temporarily affected in certain areas during construction. Chemical toilets will be provided for visitor use
Project schedules will vary by location, and updates will be shared as more detailed timelines become available. Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time when visiting.
