The site of California's largest hydraulic gold mine, where high-pressure water washed away whole hillsides and left huge coloured cliffs. The rebuilt town of North Bloomfield and a campground sit alongside.

Memorial Day – Labor Day (Summer): Daily 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

November – May: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
