Special Events are planned throughout the year for visitors to access the trails, connect with nature, and explore California history. The San Diego Archeology Center located within the park provides visitors with more to explore.
Trails, an outdoor amphitheatre and a visitor center commemorating the Kumeyaay and the soldiers who fought here on 6 December 1846, in the bloodiest battle of the Mexican-American War. Currently closed to visitors.
