Colorado State Park
A quiet lake in lush forest at the base of Farwell Mountain, north of Steamboat Springs and only a few miles off the road. Camp along the shoreline or on the ridge above it, or take one of two yurts half a mile in for a winter escape.

Park: Daily, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Office/Visitor Center at Steamboat: Sun.-Thur. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fri.-Sat. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
