About Vega State Park

Vega is Spanish for meadow, and this reservoir at 8,000 feet sits in a montane meadow full of wildflowers on the northeast edge of Grand Mesa. Camp among the aspens and fish the lake, or ski and snowmobile the same ground in winter.
