NOTICE: The main boat launch will be closed from 6:00am – 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 26. The campground boat launch will be open during this time. Shallow conditions exist at the campground boat launch. Boaters are encouraged to check water depth before entering. Current closures September 1-30 annually, the west side of the snowmobile trail is closed for dove season. Oct. 1 - Jan. 20 annually, all hiking trails except Arrowhead and Touch the Earth are closed for hunting season.
A 318-acre man-made fishing lake in 1,550 acres of rolling prairie, meadow, upland and bottomland woods, plus an undisturbed fen. A 15-acre seasonal nesting area draws canvasback, redhead and pintail ducks and Canada geese.
