About Fontainebleau State Park

The brick ruins of an 1829 sugar mill sit on the Lake Pontchartrain shore in a 2,800-acre park named for a forest near Paris. Bike or paddle the grounds, swim the lake, and bed down in a pull-through campsite or a waterside cabin.
