About Poverty Point Reservoir State Park

A 2,700-acre man-made lake that draws waterfowl along the Mississippi Flyway each spring and fall and holds bass, crappie and catfish year-round. Fish, paddle and bike the shoreline, then camp or take a cabin by the water.
