About Oconee Station State Historic Site

A stone blockhouse used as a militia outpost in the 1790s, and the William Richards House beside it, on 210 acres of Upcountry woodland. A 1.5-mile nature trail leads to Station Cove Falls, a 70-foot two-tier cascade.
