About Crater of Diamonds State Park

The only place in the world where the public can search for natural diamonds in their original volcanic source — and any rock you find in the 37-acre plowed field is yours to keep. Bring your own tools or rent them at the park.

Entrance fee

$15 per adult (13+) — Diamond Search Area — Child(ren) under 6 years: $0; Child(ren) 6-12 years: $7; Adult(s) over 12 years: $15. Tickets may be purchased online or at the park. Ages determined at the age of visit, not the date of purchase.

Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
