About Lake Frierson State Park

A laid-back park on 335-acre Lake Frierson with year-round fishing for bream, crappie, catfish and bass. Seven campsites, a fishing pier and rental boats and kayaks sit 10 miles north of Jonesboro.

Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

NOTE: Fishing boats may be rented from the Visitor Center during operating hours.
