Posted Mar 20, 2026 - Campfires are PROHIBITED. Gas fire pits are allowed. Outdoor cooking allowed in developed campsites, picnic areas and can only use grills and stoves fueled by propane, natural gas, or liquid fuel.
Over 5,100 acres of spring-fed meadow, aspen and conifer forest and massive Pikes Peak granite outcroppings. Forty-four miles of trail, 138 campsites and cabins serve hikers in summer and snowshoers and sledders in winter.
