About Castlewood Canyon State Park

A steep-walled canyon cut into the Colorado prairie along Cherry Creek, preserving 2,628 acres of the Black Forest region with panoramic Front Range and Pikes Peak views. Twelve miles of trail lead hikers and climbers through it.
