The Maple Grove Boat Launch will remain closed until major renovations are completed. 2026 - The horse trails will be closed until 1:00 pm on March 28 & 29 and April 4 & 5 for Spring Youth Turkey Season and from April 13 to May 14 for Spring Turkey Season.
The park borders Grass, Marie and Nippersink lakes and the Fox River that links the rest of the Chain — nearly 6,500 acres of water and 488 miles of shoreline. Four trail systems, eight miles of them for horses, keep landlubbers busy too.
