“The spring rains and recent storms have pushed the water level above 508’. More precipitation has been called for in the 7-10 day forecast, and we are confident the water levels will remain above 508’ for a significant period of time to allow watercraft access. Boaters must exercise caution while launching the boats and navigating the waterway, as shallow areas persist throughout the lake. IDNR will monitor the lake levels and will close the lake to watercraft if the level falls below 508’, after providing 24 hours notice to the public.”
