About Sam Dale Lake State Fish & Wildlife Area

A 194-acre lake with five miles of shoreline trail is the highlight of 1,302 gently rolling, wooded acres in Wayne County. Quail, deer, turkey and beaver work the timber and brushy fields, and bald eagles turn up at the lake through the year.
