The site of South Carolina's first permanent European settlement, founded in 1670, with a twelve-room exhibit hall, a replica 17th-century trading ketch you can board, and the Animal Forest. Eighty acres of gardens and six miles of trail follow the Ashley River marsh.
$12 per adult (13+) — $12/adult; $7.50/S.C. Senior; $7/youth age 6-15; Free for children 5 and younger.
