Stage 2 Fire Restrictions: NO OPEN FIRES OF ANY KIND — including fires within an established fire pit, charcoal grills, pellet grills, or ash-producing fuel. Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve are allowed, so long as there is at least three feet in diameter that is barren with no flammable vegetation. A prime fishery and a quiet base for ATV riders, with three trails including the Paiute Trail System running straight from the park. Spring and autumn bring migrating birds along the Pacific Flyway; the dam dates to 1897.
