Stage 2 Fire Restrictions: NO OPEN FIRES OF ANY KIND — including fires within an established fire pit, charcoal grills, pellet grills, or ash-producing fuel. Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve are allowed, so long as there is at least three feet in diameter that is barren with no flammable vegetation. Some of the warmest water in Utah and a mild winter, which keeps boaters and anglers coming all year. The reservoir was finished in 1985 to supply St. George, fed mostly by water piped in from the Virgin River.
