Stage 2 Fire Restrictions: NO OPEN FIRES OF ANY KIND — including fires within an established fire pit, charcoal grills, pellet grills, or ash-producing fuel. Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve are allowed, so long as there is at least three feet in diameter that is barren with no flammable vegetation. One of the largest dinosaur bone beds in North America, 15 miles northwest of Moab: over 5,500 bones from more than ten species in 45 years of digging, including Utahraptor, the armoured Gastonia and the sauropod Moabosaurus. Paleontologists think 100,000 more may still be in the ground.

Day-Use Fee A Day-Use Pass is $15 per vehicle. By paying this fee, you have access to all of our trails, historic site, dinosaur quarry and Visitor Center. These can be purchased at the Visitor Center. The Utah State Parks Annual Pass is available for Utah residents only. For $125, you get free day-use for all Utah State Parks (camping not included).
