About Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area

A 152-mile stretch of the Arkansas River and one of the country's most popular whitewater runs, with more than 100 miles of Gold Medal trout water alongside it. Raft, fish, climb or pan for gold from campgrounds strung the length of the valley.
