Lake Pueblo Aircraft Fire Response Operations Underway

Posted Jul 2, 2026 - Boaters should stay at least a 1/2 mile from the dam, from N1 Cove to Sailboard Beach; keep alert to / clear of all aircraft activity. Pueblo County: Stage 2 Fire Restrictions Posted Jun 29, 2026 - Effective immediately, Pueblo County Sheriff has issued a Stage 2 Fire Ban. Lake Pueblo State Park and all of Pueblo County are under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions due to dry conditions, high heat, and extreme wildfire risk. Over 4,600 surface acres of water and 60 miles of shoreline, rated a fishing hot spot and big enough for sailing, powerboating and river tubing. Some 400 campsites look out to the Greenhorn and Wet mountains and, to the north, Pikes Peak.
