About Chatfield State Park

Set where the plains meet the foothills southwest of Denver, this 5,381-acre park wraps a reservoir where boats, horses, bikes and even model airplanes each have their own ground. All 197 campsites have electric hookups, and nearly 33 miles of trail follow the Platte River valley.
