The fish cleaning station is closed and not operable until further notice. All cabins at Sangchris Lake SP have reopened for the normal camping season as of April 1, 2025.
Sangchris Lake, a cooling lake built in 1964, gives this 3,000-acre park 120 miles of shoreline for bass, bluegill, crappie and catfish. Twenty miles of equestrian trail and two lakeside campgrounds sit minutes southeast of Springfield.
