About Lake Fausse Pointe State Park

A 6,000-acre park deep in the Atchafalaya Basin, once home to the Chitimacha people, laced with water for fishing, boating and canoeing. Launch into the basin, bike or hike the trails, and stay over in a campsite or cabin.
