North Carolina State Park
More than 6,000 acres of sheltered coves, ravines, and rock formations in the Foothills, protecting streams that feed the Broad and Catawba river basins. Public access is still being built out, and the tract will anchor the coming Wilderness Gateway State Trail.
North Carolina’s designated long-distance state trails run through this park.
