About Woods Bay State Park

One of the last large Carolina bays left on the coastal plain, crossed by a 1,150-foot boardwalk over cypress-tupelo swamp where alligators are easy to spot. A three-quarter-mile trail circles the old mill pond, and 114 bird species have been recorded.
