The park is officially open to the public during our soft opening scheduled through September 30, 2026. During this time, sections of the park will be open with limited hours of operation. See additional park information provided below.
South Carolina's first linear park, protecting 9,000 acres and 70 miles of water trail along the state-designated scenic Black River. The Meadows tract opened first, with a canoe and kayak launch, a riverside pavilion and the short River Birch Nature Trail.

$3 per adult (13+) — $3 adults; $1.50 SC Seniors (age 65 & older); $1 children age 6-15; ages 5 & younger free.
