North Carolina State Park
Seven access areas strung along a swift, shallow river ten miles from downtown Durham, past landmarks like the Cascades and the historic Occoneechee Speedway. A stretch of the Mountains-to-Sea State Trail runs through it.

Free entry — There are no fees required to access Eno River State Park for day use. Fees are charged for camping, certain event permits, and facility reservations.
January–February: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
March–April: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
May–September: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
October: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
November: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
December: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The park is open during all other holidays.
