About Rock Island Trail State Park Twenty-six miles of old railbed from Alta to Toulon, in a tree-canopied corridor only 50 to 100 feet wide. An arched culvert, a tall-grass prairie remnant, a trestle over the Spoon River and the Wyoming depot mark the way.
