About Carvers Creek State Park

Two accesses northwest of Fayetteville: Long Valley Farm, once James Stillman Rockefeller's winter retreat, and a Sandhills tract of multiuse trails through longleaf pine. Watch for red-cockaded woodpeckers and the Pine Barrens tree frog.

Free entry — There are no fees required to access Carvers Creek State Park for day use. Fees are charged for certain event permits.

Hours

January–February: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

March–May: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

June–August: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

September–October: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

November–December: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The park is open during all other holidays.

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
