About Pilot Mountain State Park

The geologic knob that beacons over the country northwest of Winston-Salem, with accesses on both the rugged monadnock and the Yadkin River. Hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and camping are all here, and the Mountains-to-Sea State Trail crosses both sections.

Hours

January: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

February: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

March–April: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

May–September: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

October: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

November: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

December: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The park is open during all other holidays.
